A student at an Osceola County School has been suspended for threating other students. The student offender was a second grader at Bellalago Academy in Poinciana, and did the threatening with two very sharp utility knives.
The 9 year carried two utility knives in his pockets to school and just before lunch pulled them out and made a threatening gesture toward a 7 year old female student. The 9 year old apparently took one of the knives and made a gesture that involved pulling it across his throat, as if to threaten to cut the girls throat. The boy is currently under a mandatory ten day suspension.
The boy could have been charged with felony aggravated assault, but the father of the victim had decided not to press charges.

The developers of the ever poplular Titan Quest video game have decided to close up shop. Iron Lore Entertainment announced on their website that they will be halting all further video game development. On their website that stated “It is with great regret that we must announce that as of close of business Tuesday, February 19, 2008 Iron Lore Entertainment has ceased active game development. Several unrelated events occurred which resulted in Iron Lore being unable to secure funding for its next project.” Iron Lore workded with THQ and stated they were grateful for THQ allowed them to do, and they thanked the fans of their games. Iron Lore Entertainment is just one more video game maker that has fallen in recent times.

For the second time in less than four years a person was killed while riding the now infamous Mind Scrambler ride at Playland Amusement Park. The park is located in Rye, New York, which is just north of New York City.
Emergency workers got to the scene quickly, but the women in her twenties was pronounced dead at the scene around 9:30 p.m. The Mind Scrambler is an indoor ride that spins riders around in a darkened tent with flashing lights. The ride had previously claimed the life of young Stephanie Dieudonne, who was just seven years old on May 22, 2004.

Russia finally had a successful test of its new Bulava missile, after several disappointing failures. The new sea-based ballistic missile was launched in the White Sea from the submarine Dmitry Donskoi.
The new Bulava missile is designed carry up to six individually targeted nuclear warheads, and has a range of 6,200 miles. The three Borei-class submarines that are under construction will be the platform for the new missile. Russia claims the new missile will be able to penetrate any missile defense shield.
